Our new winter 2023 PEAK Intern - Lorena
We are excited to have our newest PEAK intern in our office Roswell, GA Chiropractic office for the winter 2023. Here is some information about Lorena. She is in her second week and simply doing amazing!
Hello everyone, my name is Lorena Cartagena; I was born and raised in Puerto Rico; I completed my
bachelor’s degree at Sacred heart university in Puerto Rico and later decided to become a Doctor of
Chiropractic. When I graduate in March 2023, I plan to practice in North Carolina.
After completing all academic work, I am now with Dr. Adler for my PEAK (Practice, Excellence, Art,
Knowledge) internship. I am excited to use my training and skills in an established clinical environment. I am thankful to work and learn at Adler Comprehensive Chiropractic. Since starting I have found a clinic full of a caring, loving, energetic, integrative team.
After several years of ongoing academics, I am excited to have real-life experience with patients and to understand the dynamics of practice management and relationships with the community.
I have learned firsthand the power of chiropractic; in the past, I suffered from constant asthma attacks; I
was a very sick child, always in and out of the hospital. After chiropractic cares, my asthma symptoms
have completely gone away and that is where my interest into the chiropractic profession began.
I love to stay active and spend time with my dog Bruno and my fiancé.
